Aircraft pilots are advised to register with NAV CANADA's collaborative flight planning services for the latest NOTAM information. Other public services, such as NOTAM.ca, offer convenient access to NOTAM information for CYPS.
Winter maintenance is limited. Airport users should expect winter conditions on the runway and taxiways.
Jet A and 100LL Aviation Gas (Avgas) are now available at the Pemberton Airport through a fully automated (Debit, Credit) cardlock system that allows for unlimited hours of operation, 7 days a week. The card lock is located in front of the Blackcomb Helicopters Terminal Building. Please note the card lock system is operated by Blackcomb Helicopters not the Village of Pemberton.

Registration and fee payment is required prior to landing at Pemberton Regional Airport. To register, please complete the Aircraft Landing and/or Tie Down Accommodation Agreement and pay the required fee (see below) prior to arrival.

The Pemberton Airport has several hundred landings a year with most of the volume occurring in August. Users are typically fire and rescue vehicles, commercial activity companies, gliders, local aircraft and helicopter companies.
The Pemberton Airport accepts fixed wing and rotocraft vehicles.
IMPORTANT NOTES: There is no runway or taxiway lighting, no control tower or navigational assistance. Visual Flight Rules apply. There is also no custom clearance and that must be done in Kelowna, Kamloops, Vancouver or Abbotsford.
The Blackcomb Helicopter Terminal Building houses a Pilots Room and public washrooms.. Hours of operation are 8am to 5pm.

As established in the Airport Snow Removal Policy, in winter months (November to April) there is limited access and the runway and taxiway are cleared only when Village resources are available and there is an extended good weather window (no snow/rain). Arrangements may be made to have the runway cleared at a cost.

The Village currently has two lease lots available for lease to accommodate the construction of a private hangar. As per Airport Establishment Amendment Bylaw No. 941 applications for a lease lot must be include a deposit of $6,500. The Pemberton Airport is primarily a summer facility, with only limited maintenance performed during the winter months, such as apron clearing in case of emergency. This information is provided in the Canadian Flight Supplement.
The Village's Airport Snow Removal Policy was approved at the Regular Council Meeting No. 1568, held on October 4, 2022.
The Airport Snow Removal Policy aligns with the Village's long established procedure as set by resolution of Council in January, 2007 which states:
THAT a policy be established whereby if an individual wishes to make arrangements for snow clearing at the Airport the entire runway must be cleared, at their own expense, under the supervision and at the discretion of the Works Manager and to the standards set by Transport Canada and the Village of Pemberton.
THAT the Village schedule runway clearing at the discretion of the Works Manager and upon the following conditions:

Before operating a drone near the Pemberton Regional Airport, please ensure you have reviewed the requirements for flying your drone safely and legally. The Village asks that drone operators contact the Village Office in advance of operating any drone in proximity to the Pemberton Regional Airport. This will ensure the appropriate safety measures have been taken and that airport users have been informed of drone activity.
The safety of our airport users, including fire and rescue services, general aviation, commercial activity companies, fixed wing aircraft, and helicopters is of the utmost importance.
