What is FireSmart?
The FireSmart program was developed to assist residents increase their home's and the community’s resiliency to the threat of wildfire.
In Pemberton, wildfires can quickly spread from the forest to our community and become what is known as an “interface fire”. It is crucial that residents and business owners located within the interface (where the forests and development meet) take the time to FireSmart their properties.
