Special Air Quality Statement in Effect, September 14th

Today's (September 14th) Index is 10+/Very High Risk.
 
At risk individuals should avoid strenuous activities outdoors. Children and the elderly should also avoid outdoor physical exertion. The general population should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors, especially if you experience symptoms such as coughing and throat irritation.
The Regions of BC are being impacted or are likely to be impacted by wildfire smoke over the next 24 to 72 hours. Smoke impacts due to long-range transport from wildfires in the western United States have been observed in some areas of Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland, and portions of the Interior.
