A heavy rainfall notice has been issued for the area. With the upcoming expected rainfall throughout the week, residents are strongly encouraged to be proactive and prepared for localized flooding. The Village will assist when possible but may not have the resources available as we protect our own infrastructure.
Here are some important preparedness tips that you can do now:
- Sign up for PembertonAlert, the Village’s emergency notification system at www.pemberton.ca

- Clear gutters and storm drains of debris
- Bookmark the Village’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/VillageofPemberton) and/or website (www.pemberton.ca) on your browsers for updates
- Check in with elderly family members and neighbours to see if they may need assistance in the event of localized flooding
