At Council Meeting 1469, held on May 8th, 2018, Council proclaimed May 20th-May 26th National Public Works Week in the Village of Pemberton.
Each May, National Public Works Week (NPWW) is held to celebrate the many people dedicated to their communities by working in public works careers.
From operating water and wastewater systems to maintaining roads to removing snow on roadways, public works plays an important role in our quality of life.
To commemorate National Public Works Week and to create awareness of the role of Public Works and its importance, the Public Works team will be hosting a Public Works Day for Signal Hill Elementary Students, in addition to giving a guided tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Thank you to all the Public Works personnel for all that you do!
