The Village of Pemberton proposes the following Permissive Tax Exemption bylaw to be brought forward at the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers located at 7400 Prospect Street, Pemberton BC, for 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading;
A permissive tax exemption is a means for Council to support organizations that further Council's objective to enhance the quality of life while delivering services economically.
The land hereinafter described and the improvements thereon which are set apart and in use for not for profit activities, to be exempted from municipal taxation under Section 224 (2) (a) of the Community Charter for the following proposed period:
