Drinking Water Update for the Week of March 21, 2016:
- The Village continues to work with Engineers to finalize the design of the conditioning system
- The Village re-sampled the same 20 residences from the first round of testing, in addition to the Pemberton & District Community Centre, Pemberton Children's Centre, as well as the two other licensed daycares, the Pemberton Health Centre, Municipal well sources and 11 Village sampling stations. We anticipate all results to be back by Tuesday, March 29th (the upcoming Easter Weekend will cause some delay)
- Staff and Council Representatives attended the citizen-led community forum on Saturday, March 19th
- Staff are reviewing and researching questions posed during the Community Forum
- Staff continues to review minutes and resolutions (2003-current) to assemble a comprehensive timeline
- Staff are organizing the Drinking Water Town Hall Meeting and creating/assembling related promotional materials
- Staff continue to respond to inquiries from the community via phone, facebook, email and in-person
- Mayor attended the Healthy Pregnancy Outreach Program (hostied by Sea to Sky Community Services) to answer questions related to the recent water sampling and results
