Exciting progress has been made on the bridge replacement project at One Mile Lake Park near the Dog Beach. This week, the bridge was successfully craned into place, and our crews are now focusing on installing decking and constructing the bridge approaches.
During this time, crews will also begin work on the East Trail, which will involve grading, smoothing surfaces, and replacing wooden bridges with crushed gravel to reduce long-term maintenance. These improvements will create a more accessible and safer trail for all park users.
Please note that the East section of the trail from the bridge to dock will remain closed until September 15th as work continues. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. Stay tuned for updates!
