A section of the sidewalk on Portage Road (as shown on the map in yellow) will be closed for the day on Monday, October 7, 2024, while crews pour concrete for the entrance to the Multi-Modal Transportation Hub.
Detour routes for pedestrians and cyclists will be in place (as shown on the map). Community members are asked to please respect all signage and follow detours.

The Multi-Modal Transportation Hub is funded through a $1.8M grant from the Rural and Northern Communities Fund. The project will cater to various commuter needs, offering amenities such as washroom and change room facilities, water fountains, bike storage, garbage receptacles, and groundwork for future EV charging stations.
