Starting July 29, 2024, crews will begin work on replacing the One Mile Bridge near Dog Beach at One Mile Lake Park. Due to the impact of recent floods, we are replacing the bridge to ensure it remains safe and accessible for all park users.
What to Expect:
- Trail and bridge closures starting July 29, 2024
- Partial closure of the bridge approach and Dog Beach area are expected
- On-site signage and fencing
- Intermittent use of the floating dock to float equipment
- Construction expected to be completed by September 2024
We kindly ask community members to respect all signage and barriers in the area while our crews work to complete this project. We look forward to reopening access and unveiling the new bridge soon!
