Under the direction of the Manager of Operations and Development Services, the Engineering Technician supports the development review of projects, contract tendering, reports and cost estimates. The Engineering Technician assists with inspection and supervision of construction and works closely with the Village Engineer on major projects.
Qualifications:
- Two year technical school diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, including formal survey training;
- Minimum two years' related experience;
- Experience in asset management;
- Report-writing experience;
- GIS and AutoCAD Computer experience;
- Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License.
