BC Family Day 2024

The Pemberton and District Community Centre invites families to participate in a BC Family Day Event. We are hosting a Photography Competition and a Guess How Many Contest.

Participate in one, or both of the below activities between February 17-19, 2024 for your chance to win some awesome prizes! 

Prize winners will be contacted directly and posted on our Pemberton and District Community Centre Facebook and Instagram page, on Thursday February 22, 2024.

Guess How Many and Nursery Rhyme Pictionary

Pick up a map, or view online, this self guided, contest taking place between February 17-19. The map will lead you to different local Pemberton storefronts. Each participating business will provide a jar, such as a jar of coffee beans at a local coffee shop, filled with an item to guess the count! Whichever family guesses the closest number (or above) to the amount in the jar wins that stores prize.

There will also be a combination of pictures displayed in each stores window. Each combination will represent a children’s song or nursery rhyme. Each family to accurately decipher the photos will be entered into a prize draw! 

Guesses must be submitted by 6pm on Tuesday February 20 via email to pemrecinfo@pemberton.ca

Photography Competition

Calling all ages! This photography challenge is a great way to get out in nature and capture the essence of Pemberton. The winner’s artwork may be displayed on this years Fall/Winter Recreation Guide and they will additional prizing! 

Submit your photo by 6pm Tuesday February 20 by making a Facebook or Instagram post and using the hashtag #PembertonBCFamilyDay2024 or emailing pemrecinfo@pemberton.ca
